Orange-tip Butterfly Necklace

This necklace features a beautiful Orange-tip butterfly made from decorated laser-cut plywood, hanging from a delicate brass chain.
The butterfly is decorated on both sides, with my paper illustrations applied using decoupage. I then use a crackle-glaze and finally liquid copper/gold leaf to add speckles & highlight the edges.

The butterfly on its own measures 4.3 x 3.5cm
The chain measures 40cm, plus an extender chain which allows it to be lengthened up to 5cm more.

The chain is made from nickel free brass, plated in a gun-metal colour.
