Crescent Moon Pendant Necklace, Ochre and Gold

This crescent moon necklace forms part of my handmade jewellery collection; a range of vintage inspired pieces featuring my illustrations on laser-cut plywood.

I use decoupage to apply my illustrations to their wooden shapes, followed by crackle-glaze and finally liquid gold or silver leaf to add speckles & highlight the edges.
The pendant has the same design on both its front & back, allowing it to be worn either way around.
It hangs on a delicate antique bronze coloured chain, made of plated brass.

The moon on its own measures 2.5 x 2.3cm, and is 4mm thick.
The chain measures 40cm, plus an extender chain which allows it to be lengthened up to 5cm more.
